The patterns in these tulip fields in Wynyard, Tasmania change every year according to how the farmer decides to plant. He uses the kaleidoscope of colourful blooms to weave his own artistic tapestry in the paddocks and every year thousands of tourists flock to marvel at the beauty of the floral masterpiece. I spent a couple of days amidst this glorious scenery waiting for the right light and conditions to shoot the flowers. I needed blue sky to bring out the vibrant colours and calm conditions so the blooms would not move in the wind and appear blurry. Finally everything came together to immortalize this field of beauty. It would be hard to have a bad day after starting out in a place like this - the intensity of the colour really brightens up your mood and reminds you of the opulence of God's handiwork.
